Lagos, Oct. 6, 2026 – The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated to N1, 331.6875 to the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Monday.
The currency had depreciated from N1, 330.0965 to the dollar on Friday last week.
The currency has been trading within that band for well over six months now.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market on Monday ranged between N1, 329.0000 and N1, 333.5000 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market between N1, 355 and N1, 370 to the dollar..
