DataPro’s 6th international webinar inches to last 3 days

Lagos, Oct. 6, 2026 – DataPro, Nigeria’s leading credit rating agency, says its 6th international rating webinar has inched to the last three days.

The company said this in a statement in Lagos on Tuesday.

It said the webinar will hold on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at 4.00 WAT.

The statement reads: “We are down to the final 3 days before the 6th International Rating Webinar on Thursday, October 8th.

“If you have been waiting to register, now is the time to secure your access to this pivotal discussion on “Sovereign Credit Rating: Africa’s Roadmap to Investment-Grade Status.

“This is an exclusive opportunity to hear directly from key decision-makers and global experts about the fiscal strategies, institutional reforms, and public-sector governance required to elevate Africa’s economic standing on the global stage.”

The company said the discussions at the webinar had become particularly relevant following Nigeria’s recent sovereign rating upgrade from B- to B.

“While the upgrade represents an improvement in the country’s credit profile, B remains below investment grade.

“The bigger question is what needs to change for Nigeria and other African economies to move further up the rating scale and sustain that progress.

“This is the central conversation for the International Rating Webinar, holding on Thursday, October 8, 2026, under the theme “Sovereign Credit Rating: Africa’s Roadmap to Investment-Grade Status.” The virtual event will hold from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. WAT,” it said.

DataPro said the webinar would explore strategies for strengthening investor confidence and enhancing sovereign credibility in international financial markets.
